Coordinator, Anti-discrimination Student Movement- 2024
I was one of the Coordinators of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement of Jahangirnagar University. This nationwide movement resulted in a mass uprising and uprooted the fascist regime of Awami League. During the movement I had to face various national and international media and was closely connected to every decision making of the campus movement.
Movement against rape- 2024
In 2024, a woman was raped inside university area. students of Jahangirnagar University organized a massive protest against RAPE which gained national attention. I was one of the organizers of the protest.
Organizing open discussion on communal violence in Bangladesh- 2021
In 2021, a massive attack on Hindus during Durga Puja was carried out by some an angry mob in Cumilla. The scale of attack shocked the citizens. Muslim religious scholars, intellectuals, media, and civil society condemned the attack. We felt the need to stand in support of the country’s minority.
Students of the department of Government and Politics organized an open discussion on ‘communal violence’ with the department’s assistance. I was one of the organizers and the host of the event.
Organizing human chain against rape- 2019
I was a fist-year student at that time. In 2019, child rape incidents increased dramatically. Me and friends decided to organize a human chain against rape. Professors and senior students of our department also participated in the human chain.
