I am a graduate student of Jahangirnagar University, currently taking my Master’s degree in the Department of Government and Politics.
To me, politics is the highest ‘performable art’ that exerts control over nearly every aspect of our lives. My academic tendency is shaped by the works of Foucault, Marx, postmodernists, Hallaq, Ghazzali, and Rumi. My academic objective is to critically examine the current political system and propose an alternative political system as, I believe, we are on the brink of a paradigm shift in the global political landscape. Currently, my research interests are democratic theory, postmodern political thought, education and culture, and Bangladesh-India relationship.
I’ve actively participated in the competitive debate for the past 4 years earning several Championships. Through debating, I honed my skills of rhetorical persuasion and public speaking. My academic study, combined with my experience in debating, led me to love teaching. I’ve taught Bangla, History and Social Science, and Science at 10 Minute School, the largest ed-Tech company in Bangladesh.
Besides my studies, I am trying to build my own blogging company ‘Decode Project‘. I envision this company as an explanatory media that compensates the shortcomings of the current mainstream media. It is still nascent but one day, I hope, it will grow into a gigantic tree.
